Items Pipes

Item Pipes are used to send items between things like chests, furnaces, and Machines. Items can flow through Item Pipes when they have a place they think they can get back out. Otherwise they stay where they are. If items are stacked when the pipe grabs them, it will send the entire stack at once! Placing a Machine Inspector on top of an Item Pipe will show how many stacks of items are currently travelling through the pipe.
Filling Item Pipes: Machines that produce items, such as Electric Furnaces, Foundries and Quarries can put their output items straight into a connected Item Pipe. You can also pull items from regular Minecraft containers such as chests, shulker boxes, furnaces and hoppers using an Item Pipe Filler. The Item Pipe Filler connects to the pipe on the side, and to a container on the opposite side. If you interact with the Item Pipe Filler, you will see whether it is correctly connected.
Emptying Item Pipes: Machines that accept items, such as Electric Furnaces, Foundries and Circuit Board Machines can take items straight out of a connected Item Pipe. You can also put items into regular Minecraft containers such as chests, shulker boxes, furnaces and hoppers using an Item Pipe Emptier. The Item Pipe Emptier connects to the pipe on the side, and to the container on the opposite side.If you interact with the Item Pipe Emptier you will see whether it is correctly connected.
Filtering items: Item Pipe Fillers and Item Pipe Emptiers can use filters to choose which items they are allowed to pull out of or put into a container. To set a filter, hold the item you want to hold in your hand, interact with the filler/emptier, and Use one of the four “Edit Filter” buttons. You can apply the held item as a filter, or “Reset Item Filter” to turn off the filter. Fillers/Emptiers will only allow items through if they match your filters. You can also flip this around using the whitelist/blacklist button. When the button shows BLACKLIST, it will allow through any item that is NOT listed in your filters.
